Date stuck in 1970-01-01

Hi,

When I use the shortcode [newsletters_date format="%d/%m/%Y"] it shows 01/01/1970. It happens on the email subject and the email content. It shows 1970. I like that decade but it's gone.

I'd like some help to fix this issue.
